Local Money Scholarships Now Available to Seniors
The Euclid Local Money Scholarship application is now available to all college bound seniors. This is a great opportunity for qualified seniors looking for some extra money for college expenses. Please see your counselor to pick up the application packet. Note: Applications are due by April 17th, 2009. The majority of scholarship winners will be announced during Senior Awards Night.

March OGT Prep
The month of March means OGT for sophomores and OGT make-ups for juniors and seniors. This is a very rigorous test that requires a lot of additional studying outside of the classroom. One great way to get a jump start is to join the Cyber Cafe on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Room 105 during 6th period. Using this blog, you can access studying tools, OGT practice tests online, and OGT released tests from prior years. These are all great ways to prepare for the OGT. Please see Ms. Turner or Ms. Russo with questions.

Financial Aid Night
All college bound seniors and their parents are encouraged to attend Financial Aid Night in the Little Theater on Tuesday, January 13th at 7 pm. Find out about filling out the FAFSA, scholarship opportunities, and ROTC options. Don’t be left out! Get the straight scoop on getting money for college.

Cyber Cafe Extended Through November
Because the Cyber Cafe has been such a hit, Room 105 will continue to be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays during 6th period through November. The Cyber Cafe focuses on OGT practice, project research, and study skills. Come by and check out all the super fun learning that is happening. See Ms. Russo or Ms. Turner for more information.

Attention College Bound Seniors:
Now is the time to start filling out college applications. You do not need to know where you want to go to college, but you do need to start applying to schools that you are interested in so that you will have options. If you are filling out applications on line, be sure to tell Ms. Turner so she knows where to send your transcript and information.

Welcome to OGT Study Lab
Remember that October OGTs are coming up the 27th-31st. These are retests for any junior or senior still needing to pass. The room 105 computer lab will be open on Tuesdays and Thursday in October to so that students can work on OGT practice online. See Ms. Russo or Ms. Turner for details.
